Doulton Ultra Carb 9 inch water filter cartridge
This is the 9″ (8 3/4″) x 2.5″ version of the standard size 10″ x 2.5″ Doulton Ultracarb, if you are unsure of the size that you have measure the height of your existing cartridge, if the size is 8 3/4″ or 227mm you have a 9″ system.
This cartridge will fit Aquaspace systems and non standard Doulton twin systems.
The Doulton Ultracarb is arguably one of the best water filter available, you can remove this from your system and clean it to maintain maximum efficiency. This water filter cartridge has silver built into the ceramic which is better than impregnated carbon filters, the silver ensures that this cartridge is completely self sterilising.

Stage 1
Doulton ceramic provides genuine sub micron filtration. The cartridge reduces fine particulate matter, bacteria, cysts and turbidity. The incorporation of silver locked within the ceramic structure gives enhanced self sterilising properties.
Stage 2
An inner core of activated carbon block removes chlorine and organic compounds.
Stage 3
Ion exchange resin reduces Lead and other heavy metals.
